Throughout her life in Kingston, Maureen has been a passionate microbiologist at Kingston General Hospital, teacher at St. Lawrence College, gardener, friend and artist.

Her creative trajectory started with rug hooking, which developed her own wool and other materials! After retirement, Maureen and a small group of friends started painting together. Initially Maureen specialized in pastels and oils. Through hard work and determination, she honed her sense of perspective and developed a greater level of confidence.

Beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend.

Born June 24, 1970 in Fredericton, NB, he was raised and lived in St. John's, NL and Kingston, ON with his family and later with his exceptional caregivers and friends at Ongwanada. Survived by his mother Sandra and siblings Jane and John.
