CARSH, Mary Georgette - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on October 6th, 2017 in her 95th year at the Welland County General Hospital.
Mary was predeceased by her loving husband Ernest “Paul” Carsh, parents Samuel Thomas and Georgette (Gauthier), brothers Jimmy Thomas (Theresa) and Samuel Thomas, and sister Annette Adams (Rexford), and nephew Rexford “Walter” Adams II.
Born on April 2, 1923 in Ottawa, Ontario, Mary spent most of her life living in the Montreal area. She worked as an executive secretary for Nortel before retiring and moving to Ontario with her husband.

BURR, Douglas Paul - It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Doug on Thursday, October 5th, 2017 at the age of 72.
His love and passion for life began when he met Susan; his wife of 48 years. They enriched their lives with the blessing of Julianne (Tim) Sviergula and Stephanie (Bill) McWilliams. His unconditional love flourished with the birth of his grandchildren Madeleine, Jason, Aaron, Lauren, Ryan, and Ashley.
Doug was a very proud owner of Tim Hortons Fonthill. He was an avid golfer, supporter of Pelham Minor Hockey and instrumental in the development of the new Community Centre.

McCLINTON, Dorothy Mae - Passed away peacefully after a long and happy life on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Haldimand War Memorial Hospital, Dunnville in her 87th year.
Predeceased by her parents Leo and Marie McClinton. Survived and sadly missed by many extended family and friends.
Dorothy was a familiar face at the Dunnville Canada Post office where she worked for the majority of her life. She tirelessly volunteered at many non-profit organizations in Dunnville.

SOTOLA, Stanislaw - Our father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 with his family at his side.
Born in Zbydniow, Poland, on November 8, 1926 and immigrated to Canada in 1963, settling in St. Catharines, where he was joined by his family in 1964. Stan worked for the Ontario Paper Co. in Thorold until his retirement in 1991. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and the Canadian Polish Society, where he was bestowed a Lifetime Membership.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 49 years, Emilia (2001). Survived by his children Antoni (Haline), Barbara, Anna Jagodzinski (Richard) and Mark (Christine).
