Doug is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Geraldine (nee Beck). Also by his sister, Audrey Warner and brother-in-law Al Murchie.

He is predeceased by his brother, Ken Warner and sister-in-law Bernice (Halfpenny), and by his sister-in-law Rosalind Clark and her husband John.
