CHAMBERS, Joyce Macintosh - Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Edgewater Gardens in Dunnville, Ontario.
Joyce was born on July 17, 1929 in Windermere, Ontario and later moved to Toronto. She studied at the University of Toronto and graduated with a degree in psychology. There, she met her husband G. Donald Chambers and was married October 3, 1952. Don and Joyce moved to Dunnville, in 1963. Throughout her life Joyce often spoke of her love for the Muskokas and Toronto.
Joyce will be sadly missed by her many close friends such as Peggy Marshall, Sharon Craven, Gladys Owens and all of her bridge club members. Joyce was an active member of her community. Joyce loved to travel, and visited many places in our wonderful world. She loved to play bridge, golf and Tennis, but her passion was her family, she loved her family deeply.
Joyce is predeceased by her husband of 59 years G. Donald Chambers, her mother Margaret Macintosh, and father Norman Hough. Loving mother of Holly (Kevin, predeceased), Geoff (Karen), Robert (Laurie).
Greatly missed by grandchildren Samantha (Mark), Gregg, Gary (predeceased), Meghan (Fox), Kaihley (Brandon), Loghan; and great-grandchildren Blake, Declan, Nate and Evie. Fondly remembered by Joyce's dear brother Michael Hough and sister in-law Caroline Chambers and late brother in-law Stanley Chambers. Lovingly remembered by Doug, Fran and Jade Chambers.

Family and friends will be received for visitation at Ballard Minor funeral home, Dunnville on Tuesday, September 13th from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, September 14th at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. A light lunch will follow at the Dunnville Legion.
If desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
