LUCIANI, Carmine, BASc(EE), WWII RCAF(NAV) - Peacefully at home on September 4th, 2016 in his 91st year.

Predeceased by his most adorable wife of 58 years, Aileen (nee Roberts).

Dear father of Elizabeth. Brother of Anthony (Frances), Josephine (Tom) Nevens, predeceased by Patrick (Lily) and fondly remembered for his magic hat by many nieces and nephews.

Carmine was born in Thorold, ON in the heart of the Niagara fruit area on April 6th, 1925 to Peter Luciani and Angelina Vendetti both of Italy. He moved to the Ottawa area in 1952 and was an active member of his community. He and his wife were avid bowlers, curlers, golfers and world travellers.

The family will receive friends at the Haine funeral home, Thorold on Saturday, September 17th from 1:00-2:00pm with a Memorial Service to follow in the Chapel at 2:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Kidney Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
