Radway DrusellaRADWAY, Drusella – (October 2, 1927 – October 2, 2016) -  It is with heavy hearts but with profound thanksgiving for a life well lived that our family announces the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Drusella Radway on  her 89th birthday, Sunday, October 2, 2016. 

Beloved wife of Kenneth for 66 years. 

Cherished mother of John Radway (Elaine), Sharon Radway (David). Jane Alexander (Chester), Nancy Wheeling, Joan Lambe (Bill) and Susan Wright (Chris).  Proud grandmother of Matthew, Phillip (Angie), Melissa (Tom), Emily (Josh) and great-grandmother of Megan, Ashley, Alyssa, Pearl and Nolan. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Predeceased by her parents Murray and Annie Mackay, four brothers and four sisters.

Drusella was born in Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia and moved to Welland, Ontario in 1947 where she devoted her life to raising her family.  She was a longtime member of Holy Trinity Church in Welland and a member of the Welland Horticultural Society.

The family will receive friends at the H.L. Cudney Funeral Home, Welland on Tuesday, October 4th from 2 – 4 & 6- 8 p.m. 

A Funeral Service will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church on Wednesday, October 5th at 1:30 p.m.  Interment to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.

As an expression of sympathy, donations in Drusella’s memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
