Pupo MaryPUPO, Mary (nee Ravazzolo) - The family of Mary (Ravazzolo) Pupo announces the sudden and peaceful passing in her 92nd year of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother on Monday October 3rd, 2016 at Post Inn Village, Oakville. 

Loving wife of Victor for 70 years.  Cherished mother of Nancy and Ron Marr, Norene Pupo-Barkans and John Barkans, proud grandmother of Geoffrey Marr and wife Tamara, Jennifer Barkans, Gregory Barkans and great grandmother of Sasha Marr. 

Dear sister of Julie (Joseph) Serianni, Raymond (Madeline) Ravazzolo, Ida (late David)  DeSimone, Ramona (late Joseph) Scrivani.  Sister in law of Angelo and Helen Pupo.

Precdeceased by her parents Egidio and Nazarena Ravazzolo, sister Rena and husband Frank D’Amelio, brother Louis and wife Dorothy Ravazzolo, brother in law Peter and wife Helen Pupo. 

Mary was employed for many years as a secretary at the Welland Hospital and Receptionist in a medical office. Her greatest joy in life was caring for her husband and family and especially enjoying her grandchildren. 

In her later years she suffered from Parkinson’s disease which robbed her of her dignity and grace.  Thank you to the dedicated staff at Post Inn Village for their loving and compassionate care of Mary and support to the family. Everyone at Post Inn treated Mary with the utmost dignity and respect as if she was part of their own family. Thank you to Dr. Tziougras for her excellent care and support. 

The family will receive visitors at H.L. Cudney Funeral Home, Welland on Thursday, October 6th from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Parish Community of St. Kevin, 307 Niagara Street, Welland on Friday, October 7th at 1 p.m.  Rite of Committal will follow.

If desired donations to the St. Kevin’s Food Bank or to the Parkinson’s Society would be gratefully appreciated.
