Pietrangelo FrankPIETRANGELO, Francesco (Frank/Chic) – Peacefully on Thursday October 6, 2016, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, in his 89th year. 

Beloved husband for 65 years of the late Anna. Loved father of Lina (Joe) Grespan, Anthony “Tony”, both of Niagara Falls, and Anne Marie (Norman) Froud, of Oakville.

Nonno of Natalie (Agostino) Mazzarelli, Frank (Leslie) Pietrangelo, Jennifer (James) Mitchell and Rebecca (Owen) Bramley; Nonno Franco of Gia, Lola, Indi, Keelan, Hattie, Samson, Desi, Ella and Benson.

Also survived by 5 brothers, 3 sisters, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother and sister. 

Born in Roccamorice, Pescara, Italy, Frank married Anna, and together they went to Canada in 1953.  He worked for many years for the City of Niagara Falls, and was a longtime member of St. Patrick’s Church.  Frank shared his love of music at all family functions and was happiest while his family and friends danced and sang along to his beautiful music on his organetti. One of the highlights of his week was his Friday gig playing at Meadows of Dorchester “The Club”.

Frank will be at the Morse & Son funeral home, Niagara Falls where his family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday.

Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church on Thursday, October 13th at 11 a.m. The Rite of Committal will follow.

As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may make a memorial donation to either the CNIB or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
