HOGUE, Ralph George - (1926 - 2017) - Died peacefully on February 5, 2017.

Dad was the loving husband of Phyllis for 47 years. A very dear and loving father to John (Melissa) Edmonton, Tom (Beverly) Fonthill and Douglas (Marlene) Huntsville. Dear grandfather of Michael (Karen) Red Deer, Ryan (Deandra) Edmonton, Janelle (Ryan) Whitecourt, Nicole (Anthony) Whitecourt, Marly and John Huntsville. Proud great-grandfather of Taylor, Brooklyn, Rylie, Kaleb, Avery, Ellie-Anna and Arielle.

Dear brother of Barbara (late Jim) Bazulka, Lakeview N.Y. and Claudia (Ron) Adams Burlington.

Predeceased by his first wife Marjorie (nee Hilliard) (1965) his second wife Phyllis (nee Beach) (2014), his parents Bill and Winnie, his brother Robert, his sister Louisa and his stepfather Claude Moll.

Dad taught in various high schools for 33 years with 24 of those years at the former Niagara South Board of Education as vice principal and principal. Dad was an avid reader, enjoyed bridge, was a history buff and story teller, an amateur elocutionist and a true blue Maple Leafs and Argos fan.

At Dad's request, cremation has taken place. The memorial service to honour Dad's life will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Fonthill, on Saturday, February 11th beginning at 11:00 am. A light lunch in the church hall will follow immediately after the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Holy Trinity Building Fund, Pelham Cares, Welland Hospital (OneFoundation) or the Ride to Conquer Cancer 2017 will be greatly appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted with Pedlar funeral home, Fonthill.
