WATT, Audrey Ione – The present journey has ended for Audrey and now she has gone from our midst. Audrey passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Ina Grafton Gage, in her 100th year.

She was born in St. Catharines on October 2, 1917 and lived all of her life in the area, having spent the last number of years at the Ina Grafton Gage Village. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac and Louise Wismer of Louth Township.

Predeceased by her husband Flying Officer (RCAF) Thomas Fair Watt on June 10, 1942. Also predeceased by her half brother Harold Furry. She will be missed by her many dear friends.

Audrey was well known throughout the St. Catharines area as she was the Personnel Manager for Zellers Ltd. in downtown St. Catharines for 25 years and later as Personnel Clerk for the Taxation Division of the Income Tax Department.

Audrey was a lifelong member of St. Paul Street (currently Silver Spire) United Church and an active member of the United Church Women.

A Memorial Service will take place in the Auditorium of Ina Grafton Gage Village, 413 Linwell Rd. at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15th. Reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice. Arrangements entrusted to HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME, St. Catharines.
