HILTON, Sylvia Rosamond - It is with profound sadness we announce the loss of our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, wife and sister, Sylvia Rosamond Hilton.

Surrounded by her family, at the Niagara General Hospital, on March 11th, 2017, Sylvia was called away from us to spend time with her parents (Nora and Elisha) and loving granddaughter Samantha Armstrong. We know they will take as good of care of you as you will of them.

Sylvia was born in Gooseberry Cove NL on August 25th, 1950 and moved west when her family started. Sylvia leaves behind her 3 children, Deloris Armstrong, Ronald Armstrong and Dawn Burke (Jason), her husband of 27 years Paul Hilton and 2 step children Nathan Hilton (Amanda) and Sara Lane (Ryder).

Proud grandmother to Samantha, Timothy, Zachary and Ethan (Deloris Armstrong), Veronica, Quinten, Calvin, Alexandra and Marcus (Ronald Armstrong), Jacob, Carter and Mitchell Burke (Dawn and Jason Burke), Kyle and Nolan (Nathan Hilton) & welcomed great grandchild, Caleb Armstrong just 6 weeks ago. Sylvia came from a big family, she was 1 of 13. She is remembered by and will be missed by her identical twin sister Sheila and siblings Marina, Neta, Freeman, Dan, Gloria, Maxine, Marie, Diane, Deb, Barb, Dave.

Special thanks go out to the incredible EMS workers in Niagara, Emergency room staff at the GNGH and the remarkable staff in the ICU. Your dedication and professionalism goes above and beyond.

There will be a service held in her honour at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 6457 Montrose Road, Niagara Falls, on Monday March 20th at 10am with a small reception to follow.

Happy memories are welcome as we celebrate the life of this wonderful woman... R.I.P. BONES.
