Currie MicheleCURRIE, Michele – Passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her family, on Thursday March 16, 2017 at the age of 52.

Let us remember Michele for her strength, courage, and wisdom.

Beloved wife and best friend of Mark Currie. Loving mother of Karra (Evan) Gillespie and Chelsea Getin (Gerard Ormond).

Cherished daughter of Linda (the late Alvin 2008) and Marcel Pare. Michele will be fondly remembered by her sister Debbie Pare, her mother-in-law Marilyn (the late Bruce 2002), and Frank Getin.

Sadly missed by everyone in the Currie, Burke, Getin and Pare families, as well as her many colleagues and friends and of course, her loving dog Chyna.

Michele is predeceased by her brother Dan (2001) and Calvin White (2015).

The family would like to thank all the medical professionals. We can't thank all the Rankin family enough for their compassion and support through this difficult time, and would also like to thank Norjon contracting.

Family and friends will be received at DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME, 135 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Sunday March 19 from 6-9 p.m.

A Celebration of Michele’s life will be held on Monday at the Brethren in Christ Church, Port Colborne, at 11 a.m. with cremation to follow.

If so desired, donations made to the Rankin Cancer Run would be appreciated by her family.
