Houtby AnaHOUTBY, Ana Margaret (nee Stewart) - At the N.H.S. General Site on Friday March 17, 2017 in her 85th year.

Beloved wife of Walter for 64 years. Dear mother of Kenneth and his wife Debra and Kathryn and her husband Fred Jackson. Loving grandmother of Amanda, Devon (Matt Moodie) and Jordan (Christine) and great grandmother of Avery Moodie.

Dear sister of Gordon Stewart. Predeceased by her brother Albert and his wife Helen and her sister Joyce and her husband Lloyd Cairns.

Ana was a longtime member of St. Columba Anglican Church, belonged to the A.C.W. of St. Columba, she loved 10 pin bowling and was the longtime secretary for the Friday Night Mr. & Mrs. League at Fairview Lanes. She enjoyed knitting comfort dolls and mittens for the less fortunate.

A special thank you to all of the staff at the hospital on floor 5B for their care and compassion.

Mrs. Houtby is at the Butler Funeral Home, 424 Niagara St., St. Catharines where the family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday March 22nd at 11 a.m. Private Interment Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.

As expressions of sympathy donations to Crohn's and Colitis Canada or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
