Russell SharonRUSSELL, Sharon Darlene – It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Sharon on March 16, 2017, at the NHS Welland Site, at the age of 69.

Dearly beloved wife of Tom, of Port Robinson. Cherished mother to Laura Graham (Scott), of Port Colborne, and loving grandmother to Kyle, Dylan, and Cyara Graham. Dear step-mother to Jodi (Brady) Fitzgerald, of Welland, Sarah Bacchus, and Adam (Erin) Russell, both of Beamsville. Dear step-grandmother to Ryan and Kristen Fitzgerald, Aiden and Kiera Bacchus, and Keegan and Jordyn Russell.

Survived by her mother Rena Doan, three sisters and four brothers, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her first husband Bruce Mittlestead in 1997, her father Jack Doan and brother Jim Doan.

Sharon was raised in Port Colborne and was a longtime employee of Sears Canada.

Family and friends will be received at DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME, 135 Clarence Street, Port Colborne, on Tuesday March 21st from 10:30 a.m. to the time of her funeral service at 1:30 p.m. in the Davidson Chapel. Interment will follow in Overholt Cemetery.

If so desired, memorial contributions made to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by her family.
