Patterson PatPATTERSON, Patricia 'Pat' - At the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Thursday March 16, 2017, Pat passed away peacefully with the same dignity and grace with which she lived her life, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 87.

She leaves behind her loving husband Francis, with whom she shared 58 wonderful years.

Pat was a loving and devoted mother to Mary Frances Patterson, Ruth-Ann (Ed) Nieuwesteeg and Sandra (Brian) Smith. Her grandchildren Ryan and Alexandra Nieuwesteeg, Trevor and Daniel Smith will remember her for the unconditional love and generosity that 'Grandma' showed them. Pat was a dear sister to Rita (the late Ray) Page and Leo (the late Pat) Shanahan.

Until her retirement in 1997, Pat worked alongside her husband Francis at Patterson Funeral Home, caring for families in our community.

She was a longtime, devout parishioner of St. Patrick's Church and for many years she was active with the Catholic Women's League at St. Ann's Church where she served as president. She leaves behind many good friends who will cherish her memory.

Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St., Niagara Falls, for visiting on Sunday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 12 pm at St. Patrick's Church. The Rite of Committal will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

In memory of Pat, donations to Niagara Support Services (Windgate Residence) would be appreciated by her family.
