Cecckin JoanCECCKIN, Joan Frances (Wills) - (July 28, 1930 - April 10, 2017) - It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, in her 87th year, peacefully at home surrounded by loving family members.

She remains behind in the hearts of her daughter Marilyn Saari and son in law Fern Beauchamp, her two sons Jack and Todd Cecckin, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Cheryl and grandson Jeremy.

She is also the much loved sister of Bob Wills (Joanne), Lois Smith (John) and Ed Wills (Veneta) and was blessed with their dedicated weekly sibling luncheon gatherings for the past five years, along with all the regular visits and treats from Jack.

Special thanks to those who assisted in her care over the last few years, especially Joanne and Lydia, whose care and love through to the end, will never be forgotten. Thanks to all the ParaMed Staff who assisted Joan as well.

Joan's faith in God and her family were her life. She stood by all of us with unwaivering love and support without ever asking for anything in return, except our love, and having that returned to her was her greatest joy ever. Our feeling of loss is great, but God has reclaimed an Angel he had only lent to us.

Family will receive visitors at Butler Funeral Home, 424 Niagara Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday, April 12th from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 pm. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, April 13th at 11:00 a.m. Interment Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.
