Westbye RosemaryWESTBYE, Rosemary (nee Cercone) - Peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer, with her loving family by her side on April 12, 2017 at the age of 52.

Beloved wife of Christopher. Cherished daughter of Carlo and Sylvia Cercone. Rosemary is survived by her brother Joseph, her sister Nancy Ponting (David). Rosemary will be missed by her nephews Justin, Lucas, Adam, Michael, Aiden, Caeden, mother-in-law Barbara, and sister-in-laws Linda and Kharen Westbye.

Rosemary was a very caring and generous person who loved to travel. She spent 9 years with the Battle of the Bands, working relentlessly to raise money for charity. She worked for the Ministry of the Environment in Toronto as a business analyst, in protection of the environment.

Rosemary will be greatly missed by all of her aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Friends will be received at PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL HOME, 2000 Merrittville Hwy, Thorold on Sunday, April 16th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Celebration of Rosemary’s life will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, April 17th at 2 PM. Interment at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.

In memory of Rosemary, donations to the Princess Margaret Hospital, Clinical Cancer Research Unit would be appreciated.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Princess Margaret Hospital and the CCAC.
