Iamarino JohnIAMARINO, John - Passed away peacefully, after a lengthy battle, surrounded by his loving family at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Sunday April 16, 2017 at the age of 86.

Beloved husband of the late Rosa (Tedesco) Iamarino (2006).

Dearly loved and devoted father of Joe (Cyndee) Iamarino and Dennis (Kim) Iamarino. Cherished Grandpa of Adam (Jacquelyn), Mark, Jamie and Clea. Dear brother of Pat (Joanne) Iamarino and brother-in-law of Antoinette Iamarino. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, Godchildren and cousins from around the world.

Predeceased by his parents Damiano and Concetta, his brother George and his sisters-in-law Libera Nigro and her husband George and Madalena Tedesco and her husband Libero.

John had been a longtime, devout parishioner of Our Lady of Peace Church where he was involved in many church projects.  He was also a founding member of Club Italia and the community of Maria S.S. Della Libera.  John had worked as a body repair man for Sentineal Car Painters for many years before becoming owner.

He had a passion for gardening and especially enjoyed the time he spent with his sons and many friends making soppresata, cheese and wine which he freely shared with others.

Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St., Niagara Falls for visiting Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 am at Our Lady of Peace Church.  The Rite of Entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum.

In memory of John, donations to Our Lady of Peace Church Building Fund or Heartland Forest would be appreciated by his family.
