Ruta Mary LouRUTA, Mary Lou (neé Wallace) - Passed away peacefully at Millennium Trail Manor on Sunday April 16, 2017 at the age of 90.

Beloved wife of the late Murray Ruta.

Dearly loved mother of Susan (Andrei) Mitran, Paul Ruta (Jackie King) and Lynda (John) Domanico. Cherished grandmother of Taras (Carrie) and Erik Mitran, Rigo, Josephine and Lizzy Ruta, Justin and Dylan Domanico.

She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and a multitude of friends.

Mary Lou will be remembered for her love of music and the joy shared through the years. She sang in the Drummond Hill Church Choir and the Tune Twisters/Rainbow Tones and taught at Drummond Hill  School.  She was most proud of her volunteer work with Meals on Wheels.

Mary Lou, alongside her husband Murray, were the proprietors of the Indian Village.

Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St., Niagara Falls for visiting Wednesday from 10 to 11 am.  A Funeral Service in celebration of her life will be held at 11 am at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Fairview Cemetery.

In memory of Mrs. Ruta, memorial contributions may be made to Drummond Hill Presbyterian Church or The Niagara Falls Humane Society, and would be appreciated by her family.
