Fritshaw GrantFRITSHAW, Grant Ronald - Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the St.Catharines General Hospital on Monday, April 17, 2017 in his 78th year.

Beloved husband of 52 years to Joan. Dear father of Kevin (Elaine). Grandfather of Matt (Bailey) and Josh (Megan).

Brother of Brian (Joanne), Bruce, Joan Wood (the late Clarence) and the late Douglas. Brother-in-law of
Erica Rapson (the late Tom), Ken Hayes (Judy), Gary Hayes (the late Pat) and the late Diana Bracken. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents Vera and Roger Fritshaw.

Grant was employed at General Motors for over 31 years before his retirement in 2000. Grant dedicated many years to Minor Hockey in St. Catharines. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club, C.Y.O. Hockey and Usher with the Niagara IceDogs for 7 years. Grant enjoyed many summers at his cottage in Northern Quebec and winters in Tarpon Springs, Florida.

The Fritshaw Family will receive visitors at PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL HOME, 2000 Merrittville Highway, Fonthill on Friday, April 21st from 9:30 a.m. until the celebration of Grant’s Life at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.

Memorial donations may be made to the St. Catharines General Hospital.
