Kish BevKISH, Beverly Ann 'Bev' - Peacefully at her home and after a lengthy battle on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the age of 65.

Much loved wife of Al, loving mother of Darren (Mandy) and Jeff (Amy) and adored Nana of Chase, Braeden, Carter, Abbie and Cadie.

Loving sister of Jim (Helen) Ferri, Gloria (Joe) Spadafora, and Bruce (Connie) and Debbie Ferri. Dear sister-in-law of Les (Cathy) Kiss, Kathy (George) Douglas, and David (Diane), Frank, Liz and Helen Kiss. Special cousin and lifelong friend of Gail (Bryan) Berrington. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Bev was predeceased by her parents Vince and Lola Ferri, mother-in-law Helen Kiss and her beloved nephew Jonathan Spadafora.

Her career as a secretary with the DSBN spanned 35+ years where she made many memories and lifelong friends while watching 2 generations of students learn and grow.

Bev’s favourite place to be was with her family. She was so proud of her boys and grandkids and loved to watch them race, play hockey, perform music and play soccer. Her extended family grew with every season and she enjoyed spending numerous hours at the track and the rink with them all.

The family would like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to Dr. Scher and nurses Tracy and Jade.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Bev’s family will receive friends at the Armstrong funeral home, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Friday, July 21st from 6 p.m.  to 8 p.m. and Saturday, July 22nd from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A service to celebrate her life will follow in the chapel at 1 p.m. with Bryan Berrington officiating. Immediately following the service, the family is inviting everyone to join them for a time of fellowship and refreshment at the family home.

If so desired, memorial donations may be made toward the purchase of a commemorative bench in Bev’s honour at the Vale Centre or to the Walker Family Cancer Centre.
