Simmons LillianSIMMONS, Lillian M. - It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of a great lady. Lil passed away peacefully on July 12, 2017 at Garden City Manor at the age of 93.

Our family takes great comfort in knowing she has been reunited with the love of her life, her husband Frank (1996).

Survived by daughter Kathy (Tony) Miles, grandsons James, Stephen (Marcela), Scott, and Daniel (Lisa). Proud great grandmother of Lincoln, Franklin, Calvin, Luke, and many step grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by daughter Peggy and stepdaughter Carole Speck (John) and all of her 7 siblings.

Lil was born in Chapleau, Ontario where she took great pride in washing the steam engines during the war. She made the big move to Niagara Falls in the early 1950’s where she met and married Frank and as they say “the rest is a beautiful history."

Family invites friends to Pleasantview Funeral Home, 2000 Merrittville Highway, Thorold on Monday July 17th where visitation will take place from 12 - 2:30 pm. A celebration of Life will follow at 2:30 pm in the funeral home chapel.

As Lil was a very giving person, please make a donation to your favorite charity in her memory.
