BURD, Mary Lou (nee Teal) - Mary Lou passed away peacefully on July 14, 2017 at Maple Park Lodge in her 91st year. Mary Lou (née Teal) lived her whole life in the Ridgeway area.

She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Burd (1998) and dear mother of the late Keith Burd (2016).

Mary Lou is survived by her sister Betty Teal of Stoney Creek, her nephew Brian (Shirley-Ann) of Stoney Creek and her daughter-in-law Heather Burd of Norwich.

Also surviving are her grandchildren Valerie Hyska (Steve) of Pembroke and Caren Burd Tallon of St Catharines, great grandchildren Katie Hyska and Jake Tallon, and great nieces Sarah Teal (Jason) and Rebecca Teal. Mary Lou has been under the loving care of her nephew Brian and will be greatly missed by her sister and Brian's family.

Thanks and gratitude are extended to the staff of Maple Park Lodge for the care given to Aunt Mary Lou and for the empathy shown to the family. Special thanks are shared with Linda Holmes and Jennifer Shutt and Doctor Shea for their care and compassion.

Cremation has taken place and will be followed at a later date with a private family graveside service. Arrangements entrusted to Niagara Funeral Alternatives.
