HAYWOOD, Ann (nee English) - Ann, of St. Catharines and formerly of Port Colborne, passed away peacefully at the Niagara Health System - St. Catharines Site on Tuesday August 8, 2017 at the age of 86 years.

Loving mother of John (Doreen) Haywood of St. Catharines, dear grandmother of Michael Pitul, Brittani (Fraser) Morgan, Barrett and Brandon Mulder, dear sister of Pat (Bert) Johns of Port Colborne, sister-in-law of Charles (Edna) Haywood of Newark, Delaware, and mother-in-law of Jim Pitul of Niagara Falls. Also survived by two great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ann was predeceased by her husband Ronald, her daughter Jane (Pitul), her granddaughter Sara Pitul and her parents Edwin and Gladys English.

Born in Port Colborne, she lived there for most of her life before moving to St. Catharines. In addition to devoting her time to her family, she was a member of St. James Anglican Church, where she was previously a JA Leader and Sunday School teacher.

The family will receive visitors at the Davidson funeral home, 135 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Wednesday August 9th from 7-9 p.m.

Memorial service will be held at St. John's Anglican Church, 80 Main St., Port Dalhousie on Thursday August 10th at 3:00 p.m. with The Reverend Laura Marie Piotrowicz officiating.

Private burial will be in Fonthill Cemetery prior to the service.

If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Niagara Region or the Tender Wishes Foundation.
