Lysakowski KazimieraLYSAKOWSKI, Kazimiera – Passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 30, 2017at the Royal Rose at the age of 94, with her family by her side.

She is reunited with her late husband Lucjan (2005). Loving mother of George (Helen), Witold (Joanne Lindquist), Barbara (Brad Robinson) and Helen (Claude Babin).

Cherished grandmother of Mark, Scott (Katie), Brooke, Adrian, Josee Babin (Sam Asner) and Louis Babin (Dominique) and great grandmother of Hannah and Justin Asner, Aidan Lysakowski, Tristan Babin, Muriel and Clara Lysakowski.

Kazimiera was a WWII immigrant from Poland, coming to Canada in 1951. She resided with her family in Kapuskasing and retired to Welland in 1985. She will be remembered for her love of gardening and spoiling her grandchildren especially with her freshly baked bread.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of the Royal Rose for the devoted care given to our mother.

The Lysakowski family will receive friends at J.J. Patterson & Sons Funeral Residence, 19 Young Street, Welland on Monday, December 4th after 10 o’clock. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on in the chapel at 11:30. Rite of Committal to follow at Holy Cross cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation.
