Stucz RozaliaSTUCZ, Rozalia – Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Welland Hospital Woolcott Wing at the age of 97.

She was born in Turterebes, Romania, March 1, 1920. Rozalia immigrated to Canada September of 1989 where she made Welland her new home and was a member of Our Lady of Hungary Church and the Rosary Society.

She was predeceased by her husband Gyorgy Stucz, her son Anton (Toni) Stucz and her son-in-law Gyorgy Kufta. Rozalia is survived by her loving daughters Katalin Nicoara, Jolanda Kufta and Judith Stucz.

Loving grandmother of Claudia, Marius (Cathy), Zoltan, Rita, Levi and Bernadette (Justin). Cherished great grandmother of Karina, Vivien, Sammy, Ariana, Noah, Aliyah, Kobe and Amelia. She was the proud great great grandmother of Ayan.

Rozalia will also be sadly missed by the Nezezon family, Tibor, Edit, Cassandra and Victoria and the Szemak family.

The Stucz family will receive friends at J.J. Patterson & Sons Funeral Residence, 19 Young Street, Welland on Wednesday from 1:30 – 3:30 and 6-8 pm. Vigil Prayers will be held in the funeral home at 2 o’clock.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Hungary Church on Thursday, December 7th at 11 o’clock. Rite of Committal to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Donations in memory of Rozalia may be made to Our Lady of Hungary Church.
