Lakie JoeLAKIE, Joseph John - Of Port Colborne, passed away at Northland Pointe on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 in his 95th year.

Beloved husband of Jean (nee Bullock) just short of 72 years.

Loving father of Michael (Sherri) Lakie and Trudy Johnstone, dear grandfather of Amy Lakie, Jeremy (Ashley) Lakie, Joe (Siobhan) Peazel, Tom (Kim) Peazel, Brandon (Katie) Johnstone, Matthew (Jen) Johnstone and Nick Johnstone, great grandfather of Bridget and Elaina, Sydney and Mya. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Joe was predeceased by his sisters Mary Birkas, Annie Virag, Julie Lakie, Kathleen Simon, his brothers Anthony Lakie and John Lakie.

He served in the Second World War with the Canadian Army.

Cremation has taken place.  Funeral service will be held at a later date.

If so desired, memorial donations may be made to charity of one’s choice. Arrangements entrusted to the Davidson funeral home, 135 Clarence Street, Port Colborne.
