For years, we have posted regional death notices as a free public service, while taking on the complete cost of publishing ourselves. We can no longer do so.

Without participating Funeral Centres, Cemeteries, Monument Suppliers and Local Businesses advertising with us, we can no longer run this website at a financial deficit.

We have received dozens of emails by folks upset at the discontinuation of our daily updates, and we apologize.  We also love this site, and considered it a great service to the public by accumulating and listing all Regional Obituaries in one spot.

Also, we appreciate the privacy to not contact the families of friends for funeral arrangements who may be shortly passing, as well as, friends not having to frequently check all local funeral centre websites for service information.

Pang JunePANG, June Hou Wan (Gee) – On Saturday February 10, 2018 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, in her 84th year.

Beloved wife of the late Peter (1990); Loving mother of Perry (Nora), Sherry, Peter and the late Charles (2011); Dear grandmother of Emerson. Sister of Soo Ying, Raina, Pak, and Chung.

Born in Canton, China, June came to Canada in 1953, and with her husband, opened the New York Restaurant in 1963. They later opened and operated the Peking Restaurant & Tavern in 1972 until retiring in 2012.

The Pang family will receive friends at the Morse & Son funeral home, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Monday. Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock. Interment Fairview Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may make a memorial donation to either the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
