Dorothy was born October 14th, 1923. A life long resident of St.Catharines, she was a passionate artist who’s work has left a legacy for generations to come. She was most happy in her garden at Loon Lake painting together with Ralph, her husband of 64 years, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her son Jeffrey. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased her daughter Suzy.

Muir ThelmaMUIR, Thelma Mildred - Thelma loved life and often said she thanked God for every morning she awoke. She faced life's trials valiantly and with great optimism. Sadly, she passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the E.C.U. in Welland, as beautiful in death as she was in life.

Thelma was predeceased by her father and mother, George and Penelope Muir, as well as all four of her siblings and their spouses, George (Dorothy), Bill (Betty), Agnes (Ed) and Peggy (Dave). She leaves behind many nephews and nieces as well as their children and grandchildren. Thelma was significantly active in some of their lives until her death and loved them all.

Thelma lived most of her life in Hamilton, and after completing high school she had a long and successful career there, working as a collection agent in the offices of Robinsons and Zellers. She also worked at Eatons and as a counter person for General Electric in Hamilton. She moved to Niagara Falls in her retirement.

Mike was born in London, Ontario and grew up in Oakville. He spent his life in construction and was very imaginative and creative in his workmanship. He built some fine houses in Oakville, Dunnville, and Tobermory, including the Family Cottage at Cape Chin on Georgian Bay.
