Grandmother of Terry (Heather), Aaron (Kristina), Todd (Alana), Chad (Jackie), Jim (Nat) and Vanessa (Jay). Also survived by 12 great grandchildren.


COWAN, Ada Anna - (1921 - 2017) - Passed away peacefully on September 6, 2017 surrounded by her family at the United Mennonite Home in Vineland.

She was predeceased by her first husband James Macdonald (1994) and second husband James Cowan (2005) and her daughter Diane (2017).

She leaves to mourn her children Dale (Faye), Doreen (Klaus), Don, Caroline (Henry deceased), Gerald, Rodger (Joyce), Fred (Debbie).  She was loved by 18 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.

Dianne was the cherished mother of Jack and Darlene, Wilma and Chris Koziello, Lori-Ann, and Fred and Jeannine. She was adored by her grandchildren Tiffany and Tim Barnes, Tania and Scott Comeau, Alicia, Adam and Alicia Koziello, Larissa, and Emily. Also, for a short while Dianne was able to enjoy the title of great-grandmother as she spoiled Berkley, Riley, and Brinley.

Dianne was predeceased by her dear husband Ben and her brother Tony. Lovingly remembered by her sister Ann, brothers Harm, Albert, Bert, sister-in-law Evelyn and their families.

Sawyer WayneSAWYER, Wayne Douglas - (March 19, 1944 – September 5, 2017) - Passed away peacefully NHS - St. Catharines Site at 73 years of age.

Wayne is survived by his brother-in-law Ron Hepburn and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Mildred and Joseph and his sister Joann Hepburn (2000).

Wayne was loved by his many relatives and friends. He was a free spirit, living life as he wished. He loved fishing, had an avid interest in local history and while not formally trained, was an amazing mechanic. He was well liked and respected by his friends and co-workers and he will be missed.

Born in Cupar, SK, Loretta was a 1949 graduate of NFCVI in Niagara Falls, Ont., and received her R.N. degree in 1952, from St. Joseph's School of Nursing in Hamilton, Ont.

Loretta was predeceased by her parents, Julia and Joseph Kayter, two sisters Annetta and Bonita Kayter, and her son Kevin Berrigan.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Paul Joseph Berrigan; her sister Jo Ann Fedor (John); nephews Jason Fedor of Niagara Falls and Gregory Fedor of Las Vegas, NV; daughters Dianne and Kathryn Berrigan and sons David, Gregory, and Terry Berrigan; and eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.


Cameron ClaireCAMERON, Helen Claire - (March 26, 1925 – September 4, 2017) - Claire passed away peacefully on September 4, 2017 at the age of 92 at Niagara Gardens in St. Catharines.

Claire Cameron was born in Merritton, Ontario in 1925 and was a respected educator and loved by many in the Niagara area.

Claire began her thirty-seven year career as an elementary school teacher in 1943 with the Lincoln County Board of Education, teaching mostly at Virgil Public School and Port Weller Public School, before retiring in 1980.
