Quail ChuckQUAIL, Rev. Dr. J. Charles 'Chuck' - (1951 - 2016) - On Sunday, September 11, 2016 we lost a beautiful soul, our dad, Chuck Quail.

He left this world in peace and in anticipation of his home in glory, a place which he spent many years sharing about with others. Dad's passion in life was preaching and teaching from God's word. He enjoyed many years of ministry in Sudbury, Glenelg Township, Owen Sound and Dunnville.

The last year had been one of many trials for Dad, but he never complained and was steadfast in his faith.

Chuck left this world surrounded by 'his girls'; wife Joy, daughters Caitlin and Alene; and his siblings Susan, Judi, and David who will always carry his memory in their hearts. Forever missed by all who loved him, including his many nieces and nephews.

Lanteigne VincentLANTEIGNE, Vincent - Following a long fulfilled life, Vincent passed away on Sunday September 11, 2016 at the age of 86.

Vincent will be forever missed by his wife of 58 years and best friend Francienne. Dad’s legacy will live on in his three boys Bobby (Donna), Bernie (Debbie), and Rick (Mary). Papa will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Kathleen, Kyle, and Amber.

Vincent will be remembered as a loving family man and a wonderful and generous friend to many. He was a longtime employee of GM for 39 years and the Director at Club LaSalle following his retirement.


HALLS, Amy E. - Amy passed at Albright Manor, Beamsville in the early hours of September 11, 2016 six weeks prior to her 87th birthday.

Amy was preceded in death by her husband Donald (2011) and is survived by her ten children and their families: Jewell, Donnette (Jim), Sharon, Holly (Joe), Tim (Sharon), Paul (Debbie), Patrick (Lori), Sam (Karin), Dan (Christine), and Jacqui. 

She is also survived by 31 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.  Amy was also loved by her siblings Mary (d. 2009), Eugene, Charles (d. 2015), Mabel, Donald, Ralph, and Myrna. She will be missed!


MULLIN, Therese Mary - Passed away peacefully with her family by her side, at Juravinski Hospital, on Sunday, September 11, 2016, at the age of 59.

Beloved wife of Mario Ibrahim and step-mother of Jehan Higgins (Michael) and Jordanna Ibrahim.  Loved sister of Michael Frost.

Therese was born and raised in Australia and moved with Mario to Dubai in 2007.  Since 2011, they have been living in Stoney Creek, Ontario.

BOYD, Sharon (née Corey) - On September 11, 2016, Sharon passed away peacefully with her family by her side after a year-long private battle with cancer.

Sharon is the beloved sister of Bryan and Mia, special aunt to Jennifer and Brian, Geoff and Melissa, Steve and Ashley, and dear godmother to Elizabeth. She will lovingly be remembered by her great nieces and nephews.

Sharon was a proud Reiki master to many devoted students and a dedicated teacher for 34 years at North York (5 years), NOTL (12 years), and York region (17 years).

Boucher GailBOUCHER, Lorna Gail (nee Herring) - (May 22, 1941 – September 10, 2016) - In her typical no-nonsense, black and white, no heroics fashion, and on her own terms, Gail passed away from a brief stint with cancer on Saturday, September 10th, 2016 at 1:00 am.

She is predeceased by her parents, George and Dorothy, her husband Joe (2002), her brother Raymond (2016), and is survived by her other brother, Kevin (Jeannie).

Gail will forever remain in the hearts and minds of all who she touched, especially her son Christopher, daughter Andrea, son-in-law David, and her three lovely granddaughters, Sydney, Jorja and Grace, whom she loved as much as or more than life itself.


Chambers JoyceCHAMBERS, Joyce Macintosh - Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Edgewater Gardens in Dunnville, Ontario.

Joyce was born on July 17, 1929 in Windermere, Ontario and later moved to Toronto. She studied at the University of Toronto and graduated with a degree in psychology. There, she met her husband G. Donald Chambers and was married October 3, 1952. Don and Joyce moved to Dunnville, in 1963. Throughout her life Joyce often spoke of her love for the Muskokas and Toronto.

Joyce will be sadly missed by her many close friends such as Peggy Marshall, Sharon Craven, Gladys Owens and all of her bridge club members. Joyce was an active member of her community. Joyce loved to travel, and visited many places in our wonderful world. She loved to play bridge, golf and Tennis, but her passion was her family, she loved her family deeply.

Joyce is predeceased by her husband of 59 years G. Donald Chambers, her mother Margaret Macintosh, and father Norman Hough. Loving mother of Holly (Kevin, predeceased), Geoff (Karen), Robert (Laurie).

Noyes CraigNOYES, Craig Adam - It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Craig on Saturday, September 10th, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. Craig slipped away with his loving family by his side at the age of 35 years.

WALL, Rudy – Suddenly at his home in Vineland on Saturday, September 10, 2016, aged 85 years.

Son of the late George and  Adoline Friesen Wall of Vineland Station.

In 1972 Rudy and his brother Irvin began a pick-your-own farm in Wainfleet Township which they operated for 10 years. He was predeceased by Irvin in 2013.

Charlie was a member of the Seafarers’ International Union of Canada, where he sailed on the great lakes for more than 50 years.


Warner TedWARNER, Edward James 'Ted' – After a lengthy journey through the haze of Alzheimer's, Ted passed away on September 9, 2016 at the Meadows of Dorchester, surrounded by family at the age of 88.

Beloved husband of Eleanor, for 65 years. Adored dad of Greg (Connie) Warner, Kevin (Arlene) Warner and Allison (Don) Sorley. Ted will be terribly missed by his grandchildren Trudi Warner, Kendra and Stacey Warner, Cameron and Heather Sorley, and great-granddaughter Lateesha Warner.
