Sister of John and Marjorie Peacock and John and Linda Fearns. Predeceased by brother Keith Peacock.

 

Miski BillMISKI, William John 'Bill' - (July 22 1927 - February 24 2017) - Passed away peacefully with family by his side at McNally House Hospice, Grimsby.

Bill has left us to join his beloved wife Jackie (2006).

Passed away, peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the United Mennonite Home in Vineland on Friday, February 24, 2017 in her 95th year.

Cherished mother of Patricia Hegedus (Les) and Paula Whitaker (David). Proud grandmother of Vicki Hegedus (Steve Deppisch) Karen Beus (Roger), Michael Hegedus (Crystal), Janalee Wynder (Brandon), Tricia Tolman (Ryley), James Whitaker (Sarah) and Carrie Sciarra (Scott Boorman). Sadly missed by 21 great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Florence Annie Hiscock, her first husband Norman Edgar Lemon (1951) and her second husband Ernest Davies (1989).

Beloved wife of the late Willard for 50 years.

Nolet ClaudetteNOLET, Claudette (Séguin) - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, mother, and grandmother, Claudette Nolet. Claudette passed away peacefully on Friday, February 24th, 2017, in Welland Ontario, after a short battle against cancer.

Claudette will be sadly missed by her sister, Liliane Séguin; her daughters, Brigitte (Chris), Stéfanie (Adam), Chantal (Earl); her two granddaughters, Téa and Macy; along with her numerous nieces, nephews, sisters in law and brothers in law, whose lives she touched.

Claudette was predeceased by her loving husband, Ronald Nolet; her mother, Claire Séguin; and her brothers, Cléo and Lucien.

EDWARDS, Jessica Lin - It is with great sadness that Robin and Yvonne have to announce the extremely premature death of their beautiful daughter Jessica who was only 23 years old and full of life.

She will be deeply missed by her brother Tyler (Ana), Justin (Amanda), her nieces Lily, Aila, Seraphina and Arwen. She was loved by her Grandmother Connie Milne and was met in heaven by her Grandfather Jack Milne. Jessica will be sadly missed by her Grandparents Sandra (Reginald) MacLean and Glen Edwards.

She has left behind Aunts and Uncles Pauline and Dave Ives, Kim Edwards, Glen Edwards, Heather Edwards and Mark Burbidge. She leaves behind many Cousins, great Aunts/Uncles and extended close family members. She will be missed by many friends plus people she has touched in her short but amazing life.

Beloved husband of the late Joan McCaffery (2003), loving father of Jerry (Carol) McCaffery, Linda McCaffery Gibbs, Harold McCaffery and Barbara Tardif, father-in-law of Pauline McCaffery and Frank Kar, brother of Mary McCaffery, uncle of Scott (Marissa) McCaffery and Patricia (Dennis) Simon.

Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and his loving companion Aline.

Besides his wife, he was predeceased by his daughter Dianne Kar, his son Donald, son-in-law Don Tardif, his brother Claire and his wife Maureen McCaffery and his parents Clarence and Evelyn McCaffery.

Predeceased by a brother Edward and a sister Genevieve, also a niece Denise. She will be missed by several great nieces and nephews.

 

Sirianni MikeSIRIANNI, Michael Anthony 'Mike' - Softly in the night, Mike left us on Thursday February 23, 2017 at the age of 70.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Karen (neé Simpson), his daughters Amy Lynne Brohm, her husband Kaspar and their son Lane Anthony, Liza Katharine DeLazzari, her husband Carl and their sons Edward Joseph and Michael Peter.

Mike is survived by his sisters Vicki (the late Ken) Parr, Joyce (Doug) Monteith and his brother Joseph (the late Linda) Sirianni. He will be missed by his in-laws David (Carol) Simpson, Donna (Dave) Simpson, Lorie (Ken) Prohaszka and Pam (Kent) McDonald and by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Angeline (Sacco) Sirianni, his sisters Maryann (the late Jim) Hetherington and Ruth Anne Kallaur (Tony) and his infant brother Frankie.

Predeceased by his brothers Ken, Reginald (Marge), Maxwell Long (Doreen), sisters Helen Swain (Ted), Gloria Golding (Ray), brother-in-law Ezzio Orsini (Rena), Dario Orsini (Lucy) and sister-in-law Marion Orsini.

Jack was a proud Veteran, serving with the Canadian Armed Forces. He worked for Page Hersey/Stelco for 37 years, retiring in 1981.

Loving husband for 65 years of Jean Dalman (predeceased).

Beloved father of David (Mary), Barbara (Jim) Moore, and Margaret. Sadly missed by his granddaughters; Adrienne (Andrew) Fossheim, Katherine and Julia; his great-granddaughters Natalie Fossheim and Kimberly Fossheim and his niece Lois Holden (Bob). Predeceased by his brother Bob (Doris) Dalman.

Carter Edwards EdCARTER-EDWARDS, Edward 'Ed' - The tenor voice, endless jokes and talks about his POW experiences that were so much a part of Edward Carter-Edwards are now history. In his 94th year, Ed passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at McNally House.

Born in Montreal in 1923, his family moved to Hagersville then Hamilton. Ed joined the RCAF during WWII. When his Halifax bomber was shot down June 1944, he was captured and incarcerated along with 167 other allied airmen in Buchenwald Concentration Camp. After liberation, Ed returned home and married Lois (nee Russell) in 1946 and settled in Ancaster.

Ed’s voice could be heard in productions of the Hamilton Theatre Company, Harlequin Singers and Church choirs at Ancaster, Hamilton and Smithville.

After retiring from Westinghouse/Camco, Ed and Lois moved to Bala and Bradenton, Florida before settling in Smithville in 1994.

 

VILLENEUVE, Michel Denis 'Mike' - Peacefully, with family by his side at Edgewater Gardens, Dunnville on Wednesday February 22, 2017 in his 62nd year.

Mike Villeneuve, beloved husband to Joanne, sadly missed by her children and family. Loving father of Sara Villeneuve (Mike) and Erica Lanigan (Jimmy). Proud and loving Pere Pere of Katie Villeneuve and Elizabeth and Michael Lanigan.

Loving son of Marie Cunningham (Ralph) and the late Gerard Villeneuve. Lovingly remembered by his brothers Andre and Richard and sister Nicole Maitland (Al).

 

Martin FernMARTIN, Fern Elizabeth (nee Barnhart) - On Wednesday, February 22, 2017, Fern passed away peacefully at Crescent Park Lodge at the age of 89.

Predeceased by her husband Raymond (Ray).

Loving sister of Avis McComb, the late Harold Barnhart, Pearl Ford, Shirley Hopper, Carol Mann, Anita Kiss and Joan and Paul Dunn. Sister-in-law of Doreen and Reg Lawrance. Beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Fern was born in Stevensville, ON, on April 18, 1927. As a young woman, she moved to Toronto, and worked at the Canadian Coleman Company, where she met her husband Raymond. In retirement, Fern and Ray moved back to the family farm in Stevensville.
