A sweet and simple soul who lovingly leaves behind his one and only cherished daughter Aimee, whom he loved dearly. Also mourning his passing are his 4 brothers George (JoAnne), Michael, Wayne (Marlene) and Brian (Sharon).
He will also be remembered as a fun-loving character, a kind and loving uncle to his nieces and nephews, Michelle Gadula, Jordan (Kelly), Alexandria Anger (Evan), Jelayna, Emily, Neill and Joey. As well as 5 great nephews Cameron, Lincoln, Coen, Davyn and baby Phoenyx. Our brother was a faithful and loving friend to Austin Croft.

HEDEMANN, Liliane Marguerite Françoise - Of St. Catharines, ON passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, March 16, 2017. She was surrounded by family, friends, her doctor and palliative care nurses.
Liliane was born in Paris, France, the daughter of the late Marius and Marguerite Dupin. She is predeceased by her husband, Hans and her son, Erik. Liliane is survived by her daughter Viviane (John Violette) and her daughter-in-law Karen (Acaster) Hedemann.
She is also adored and cherished by family members in France, Denmark, U.S.A and Australia. She was the beloved sister of Jean (Jeannine) Dupin (St. Maur, France) and Simone Dupin (Marseille, France).
WILCOX, Dorothy Joyce (Harris) - Joyce was born in St. Catharines November 15, 1928 but moved as a child with her family to Louisbourg, Cape Breton. It was there, at a dance in 1946, that she met and soon married the love of her life. They danced together for nearly 61 years until Tom passed away in 2008.
They returned to St. Catharines to raise their family in 1952. Although Joyce worked in sales at J Michaels Ladieswear for several years, for her entire life she was a caregiver at heart.
She raised 3 strong children and had an undeniable impact on the lives of her grandchildren.
WURFEL, Gary - Passed away peacefully at the Welland General Hospital on Thursday March 16th, 2017 at the age of 84.
Beloved husband of 64 years to wife Yolande. Father of Wade Wurfel (Shannon) and Diane MacMeekin (Michael). Loving grandfather of Andrea (Ben), Stephen, Jessica (Ross), Rachel (Nolan), Mitchell and Jason. Proud great-grandfather of Colin, Tessa, Connor, Chelsea, Carter, Karly, Cole and Henri.

TOKAR, Wolodymyr 'Walter' - Passed away on March 15th, 2017 at GNGH in Niagara Falls at the age of 93.
Born at Village of Snizhkiv, district of Kharkiv in Ukraine, Jan. 6, 1924. In 1944 he relocated to Germany and in May of 1949 he moved to Canada to work for Ontario Hydro as a construction labourer and Steelman, first at Pine Portage and later at the Queenston Generating Station, Sir Adam Beck #2. After the project was completed he began to work for Burgess Battery Company and Ohio Brass Company in Niagara Falls in 1959 as a tow-motor operator and also worked for the City of Niagara Falls.
Walter was a member of St. George Ukrainian Orthodox Church in St. Catharines.
Walter is predeceased by his wife Ludmila (nee Stefan) Tokar (1985), and his sons Leonid "Lonny" (1986) and Taras "Terry" (2013) and is survived by his 3 children; Nadia (Pat) Davidson of Hamilton Ontario, Maria Hiott of Hamilton, Wolodymyr "Walter" (Gerry) Tokar of Niagara-on-the-Lake.

FORRESTER, William 'Bill' Storrie - In his 92nd year, William "Bill" Storrie Forrester, of St. Marys and formerly of Niagara Falls, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2017 at Kingsway Lodge surrounded by family and companion.
Survived by his children Peter (Barb), David (Sandra), Vicki Graham (Nelson), Todd (Sharon), son-in-law Randy Forman, 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and his companion Aline Hall. Predeceased by his wife Florence, daughter Linda Forman, parents David and Mary, brothers David, James and Alfred.
He served in WWII in the infantry core with the 2nd battalion of the Irish Regiment of Canada, going overseas to England, Belgium, Holland, France, Italy and Germany from 1943 to 1946. He has been a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for 73 years.
Rick leaves behind his father Glenn Austin, sons Daryl Austin and Joe & Melissa Austin, and their mother Margaretann Austin. Proud Grandpa of Mercedes and Kassie.
