McKENZIE, Marlene Patricia (nee ROONEY)  - (October 3, 1935 - April 1, 2017) - 

Sadly, Marlene passed away peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on April 1, 2017.

She leaves behind her loving husband Duncan (Don), much loved son Marc William (Kerri), granddaughter Kate and grandson Luke. Sister Thelma and her husband Marv (Purdy) and sister-in-law Jess and her husband Ken (Martin) and many nieces and nephews.

Marlene worked for the F.W. Woolworth's Company at the corner of Queen and Yonge as a window dresser through the 50s and 60s.

She was a bowler, golfer, baker, cross stitcher and an avid bird watcher. Her most cherished role was that of Nana.

A Celebration of Life will be held later this summer.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Palliative Care Unit at Northumberland Hills Hospital.
