Lynch JudieLYNCH, Judith Ann (nee Morris) - She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love and care of her family on April 13, 2017.

This photo is how we like to remember Judie, a vibrant, beautiful person, who loved people, devoted her life to family and friends, was hooked on shopping, fashion and interior decorating, and loved to laugh as she enjoyed life.

She was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer June 30, 2016. Due to her strength and faith, she was determined to live each day to the fullest. She accomplished this with a positive attitude and by spending as much time as she could with family and friends.

She was particularly devoted to her beloved grandchildren, who she enjoyed spoiling; and was their biggest fan at their sporting events.

Judie is survived by her husband of 48 years Bud Lynch, and was the loving mother of Kim Matwey (Terry) and Kerry Lynch (Glenda); her brother Michael Morris (Nancy), sister Helen McFadden (Karl), and was predeceased by her parents John and Vera Morris, and her sister Dale Ryan. She was the grandmother to the joys of her life, Molly and Abby Matwey and Benjamin and Carson Lynch; sister in-law of Dette West (Bob), Dick Lynch (Ann), Jim Lynch (the late Gillian) and predeceased by brother-in-laws Raymond Lynch, Harry Lynch (Bea/Myla), Leon Lynch (Joan) and Frank Lynch (Liz).

As well, she is survived by a large number of nieces and nephews who were an important part of her life.

Our family wishes to express our gratitude to the CECCAC Palliative Care Team for their exemplary care. We would especially like to thank Dr. Gibson, Dr. Mulé, Dr. Long, Dr. Barrie, Kianda Mauch NP, Jan Adams and RN’s, Carrick, Laura, and Sam.

A special thanks to Father Gerard McMahon for his many visits and spiritual care.

Visitation will be held at the Ross Funeral Chapel, 135 Walton Street, Port Hope, on Wednesday, April 19th, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.

The funeral mass will be at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, 155 Walton Street, Port Hope, on Thursday, April 20th at 12 pm.
