TENNY, Dana Margaret - (1941 - 2017) - Reluctantly, on May 3, 2017, Dana let go of the life she still had so much to offer.

Predeceased by her partner Gregg Morton and her father Herbert, she leaves her mother Virginia.

Her long career as librarian, bibliographer and fount of knowledge at the Toronto Public Library's Osborne Collection of Children's Books ceased with her retirement in 1995, although she continued to ply her skills in support of the field of historical children's literature.

Her energy and enthusiasm for all good things: travel, art, music, food, wine, company, and cats, were diminished only by disease and time and her unique and determined personality is mourned by many.

There will be no funeral, and cremation has already taken place. A memorial will follow at a later date.

If desired, donations in Dana's memory may be made to the Friends of the Osborne Collection.
