Crothers BarbCROTHERS, Barbara Joan - Passed away at Bridge Hospice in Warkworth, On. on July 8, 2017 in her 61st year.

Daughter of the late Margaret and James (Jim) Crothers, sister to William Crothers (Kim Vinnels) Peter Crothers (Wendy Allen) and Leslie Crothers (George Cook).

Predeceased by her husband Dennis Little, loving mother of Kathryn Crothers Little (Noel Burkitt), William Crothers Little (Jennifer Cormier), Anna Crothers Little (Patrick Allen), Douglas Crothers Little, stepmother to Spencer Little (Karen Cochrane).

Barb will be sadly missed by her 8 grandchildren, Siarrah, Taner, and Jackson Little, Maeve, Charles, and Hazel Burkitt, Greta
Little, Leia Allen.

Barb was born in Temiscaming, Quebec and grew up in Northern Ontario. Barb obtained her HBSc in Physical Education at Lakehead University and her BEd at Queens University.

She moved to Campbellford after earning her teaching degree and was a dedicated teacher at Stirling Public school for the majority of her career. Barb was a vibrant outdoor enthusiast. Her spirit of adventure and love for her family defined her.

She was a skilled gardener and athlete. Her respect and love for the environment are values she passed to her children, grandchildren and students.

An open house celebration of Barb’s life will be held at Maplewood Farm, 281 8th Line West, Campbellford On. on Saturday, July 29th, 2017 beginning at 3 pm.
