Sellers WickSELLERS, Frederick William "Wick" - September 30, 1930 - September 3, 2017 - As a result of complications from a second hip facture and Parkinson's Disease, Wick died peacefully leaving his beloved wife, Margie, children and grandchildren to continue his legacy.

Wick was born in Winnipeg and always claimed that while you might take the boy out of the prairie you could never take the prairie out of the boy. He attended Ravenscourt School graduating in 1948 as Head Boy. Wick remained deeply connected to the Ravenscourt community by serving as a member and Chair of the St. John's- Ravenscourt School Board through a time of transition which saw the introduction of girls, an endowed scholarship and bursary programme and the first staff pension and benefits plan. The school honoured him with an outstanding service award in 1985 and awards two scholarships in his name.


GIBBONS, Timothy Earl - Peacefully, with his mother and siblings by his side, Timothy Earl Gibbons of Brighton, passed away at Kingston General Hospital on Sunday September 3, 2017.

Tim is remembered for his gentle heart and his generous acts of kindness. Tim had an amazing ability to tell stories (especially about the Proctor House), which captured the attention of some, keeping them waiting in suspense for his next tale.

Tim was also a fantastic photographer, he loved to capture nature at its best, he would exude such pride when he was asked to show off his work, and rightfully so. Tim especially appreciated the wonders of the night skies; he took great solace in exploring the stars and planets which lingered above.

HOGAN, Catherine Martina - Our mother Catherine Hogan has completed her life with grace at Extendicare Cobourg in the wee hours of the morning on September 2, 2017. 

Mom was born in Rocky Point, P.E.I. on August 12, 1926. 

She married our Dad, Philip, the love of her life, and shared many wonderful years together. Sadly he passed away on April 17, 1990. They resided in Rocky Point where we were born: Diane (Bob Adams), Linda Sedgwick-Sharpe (Charlie Girard), Roger (Alice) and Patsy (Gordon Draper).

GIBSON, Anne - At age 66, of Cobourg, Ontario passed away in the early hours of August 31st, 2017. Anne passed away after a long and hard fought battle with cancer.

She was the loving lifetime companion of Stanley Feldman and beloved mother of Jason (Amberlee Anthony) and Cameron (Marketa) Gibson.

Predeceased by her parents Berkeley and Alice (Carter) Milne.

ALBERT, Jerry F. (Jaroslav) - My name is Susan Albert and I have been Mrs. Jerry Albert for 49 yrs. My family and I are in shock. 12 Days after first entering the hospital, Jerry has passed on August 29, 2017.

Our daughter Kristina and husband Lloyd Dyrow gave Jerry his most valued possession, his grandson Andrew.

Our daughter Shanna Albert follows in her father's creative footsteps as a TV Producer/Writer.

Jerry became a Plein Air artist 20 yrs ago while living in Washington State, USA. His passion was oil painting both wildlife and landscapes. He went on to study with American Master Artists and painted his way around North America.

He faced his illness with humour and courage right up to the end.
