MacLeod ColinMacLEOD, Colin George - Peacefully, after a courageous battle, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Monday, September 12, 2016. Colin of Peterborough, in his 73rd year.

Loving husband of the late Susan Davies-MacLeod.  Dear father of Mike Hickey (fiancée Chelsey Doyle) of Burnaby, BC. 

Brother of Hugh MacLeod (Jenny) and the late Rod MacLeod. Colin will be remembered by his nephew Ian MacLeod (Adrianna), niece Meghan MacLeod, and his life-long friends; Brian Brownridge, Jerry Fallis and Peter Matheson, and his Peterborough Community friends; Len Vass (Susan), Donna Clarke (Henry), Betty Plumley, Catherine Johnston and their families, and many other friends and neighbours. 

Colin earned a B.A. from the University of Calgary, later earned a Masters of Fine Arts, Carleton University.  Colin began his career as a freelance writer with CBC and soon became a producer and manager for CBC.

He was very involved with the Liberal Party of Canada. He was a Community Crusader. A longtime member and Chairman of the Board of both the CMHA and Homegrown Homes.

A private celebration of Colin’s life will be held at a future date. Arrangements entrusted with Ashburnham Funeral Home, Peterborough.
