Richardson BillRICHARDSON, William H. 'Bill' - We are saddened to announce the peaceful passing of Bill Richardson, age 80, on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Loving husband of Elaine (Findley) Richardson, dear father of Craig (Daphni Hamilton) of Austin, Texas, and Janice Richardson (Keith Moore) of Peterborough. Proud grandfather to Scott and Liam Richardson (Cochrane, Alberta), Ashley and Brandon Schaper (Peterborough) and Cindy Stuart (Williams Lake, British Columbia).

He is survived by his brother, Jack (Donelda) Tillsonburg, Ontario, and sister, Pat Woolcott (Norm) of Okotoks, Alberta. He was predeceased by his parents, Bessie and Sydney Richardson, and sisters, Letia Richardson (Peter Hendrie) and Kae Mabee (Chuck).  He will be fondly remembered by relatives and friends. 

In keeping with Bill's wishes, there will be no funeral service.  A private graveside service will be held at a later date. 

In Bill's memory, donations can be made to Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit, 1 Hospital Drive, Peterborough, ON, K9J 7C6.
