Hopgood KenHOPGOOD, Kenneth William Rex - (Retired Draftsman City of Peterborough, Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 52, and member of Keystone Golf and Country Club) -

After a Long, hard fought battle with cancer Ken passed away at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Monday, September 19, 2016 in his 69th year.

Beloved husband of Pat (nee Allen) for 40 years.  Sadly missed by his brother Rex Hopgood,  his mother-in-law Joyce Mason,  his loving  sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law, his much loved nieces and nephews, his many friends, and golfing  buddies.

Predeceased by his parents Bill and Yvonne (nee Killingbeck).

There will be a Graveside Service held at Rosemount Memorial Gardens, 2551 Whittington Drive, Cavan Monaghan on Friday, September 23rd at 12:00 p.m. A Celebration of Ken’s Life will then be held at the Highland Park funeral centre, Peterborough on Friday at 1:30 p.m. with a reception to follow.

In memory of Ken, donations to the PRHC, Lakefield Animal Welfare Society or the charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
