Linton RaeLINTON, Rae - (Retired Teacher, 20-year Director of Education with the Peterborough County Board of Education, Director of Education with the Canadian Forces in Germany, and Director of Education with NATO in Holland) -

With his family by his side, passed away at Fairhaven Home on Sunday, October 2, 2016 in his 84th year.

Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Horn) for 60 years.

Loving father of Jo-Anne and her husband David Desveaux, Jennifer Linton and the late John Linton. Cherished grandfather of Katie and Michael.

Predeceased by his brothers and sisters and Lois Linton, Jenny and Moses Linton.

Family will receive friends at the Highland Park Funeral Centre, Peterborough, on Wednesday from 7:00-9:00 p.m.

A Celebration of Rae's Life will be held at the EDMISON HEIGHTS BIBLE CHAPEL, 939 Hilliard St., Peterborough, on Thursday, October 6th at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Church.

In memory of Rae, donations to the Alzheimer Society or Mothers Against Drinking and Driving (MADD) would be appreciated by the family.
