Beresford HarryBERESFORD, Harry Vincent - On Monday, October 17, 2016, has gone to meet his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

He will be greatly missed with heavy hearts and profound sadness by his wife Anne of 57 years, his son David Vincent Beresford, his daughter Charlotte Anne Hurley, his daughter-in-law Theresa Beresford, his son-in-law Brian Hurley.

His grandchildren Margaret and her husband Greg Aitken, Sally and her husband Brendan Sheridan, Anna and Patrick and Elizabeth and Hugh and Philippa (Beresford) and Mary Hurley and great-grandchildren Ella Jane, James, Beatrix, Katherine, Samantha (Aitken), his siblings Lawrence Beresford, Patricia Basciano and Gerald Beresford (deceased).

Through the hard work and kindness of many persons Harry Vincent was able to remain in his home for the lengthy duration of his illness.

Zenaida Valles cared for him with love and devotion for the entire seven years. Dr. John Beamish was faithful to take the walk from his office to our home to monitor his health and give us the confidence to keep him at home. Fr. Luis visited regularly to bring sacraments and blessings of the church to Harry Vincent. Thank you to the following for service far beyond the ordinary Susan Gontier of Hospice, Suzie Harper CCAC, Kim Clark, Kerry Anne Blake, Doug Liscum and Kim Gray.

Harry Vincent will be cremated and his ashes will be brought to St. Peter’s Church for his funeral mass on Friday, October 21st at 10:30 a.m.  There will be a reception at the Knights of Columbus Bishop Doyle Hall after the Mass where there will be an opportunity to remember him with his family.

May God be good to Harry Vincent and welcome him with open arms.
