Irwin NormaIRWIN, Norma Blanche (nee Crowe) – (Co-Founder of The Irwin Inn Resort) -

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Extendicare Lakefield on Tuesday October 18, 2016.  Norma Irwin of Norwood in her 98th year. 

Beloved wife of the late Ross Irwin (d. 2015).

Loving mother of Garry Irwin (Ann) of Norwood, MaryAnne Irwin (Nancy) of Peterborough and Dennis Irwin (Patti) of Stoney Lake. Grandma will always be loved and remembered by Glenn, Stephen, Brent (Jamie), Jaimey (Tina), Rob (Julie) and Andrew (Lindsey) and great grandchildren Emily, Sarah, Liam, Brennen, Avery, Rowan, Lachlan, Gavin and Marlies.

Also survived by sister-in-law Bonnie Crowe (d. Leslie).  Predeceased by her parents Annie and Walter Crowe, her brother Leslie Crowe and sister Mary McLaren (Stewart).

Friends and relatives are invited to call at The Hendren funeral homes, Norwood chapel, on Monday October 24th from 7:00 – 9:00 PM.

A funeral service will be held at the Norwood United Church on Tuesday October 25th at 11:30 AM with visitation one hour prior at the church. 

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Norwood United Church, Carmel United Church or a charity of choice.
