Lecour GlenLECOUR, Glendon Lawrence 'Glen' - (December 22, 1926 - October 21, 2016) -

Retired after 36 years Dominion Stores Supervisor and Manager, Retired Sales Representative for Golden Gate Margarine, Member of Knights of Columbus for 69 years, Ernest J. Wolff Knights of Columbus Council 798 and the Bishop Marrocco 4th Degree Assembly, Papal Knight of St. Gregory, Past Grand Knight, Past Faithful Navigator and longtime parishioner of Cathedral of St. Peter-in-Chains.

Passed away peacefully at Extendicare, Peterborough, on Friday, October 21, 2016 in his 90th year.

Beloved husband for over 65 years of the late Georgina Josephine Lecour (nee Rooney) d. Dec 14, 2014. Loved and adored by his four daughters Linda Ross and Glenda (Ted) Hunter of Peterborough, Carolyn (Steve) Westington of Bailieboro, and Diane, d. Dec 21, 2011.

World's best grandfather to Dave and Mark (Ashley Stewart) Ross of Peterborough and Holly and Stephanie Westington (friend Adam Jamieson) of Bailieboro.

Predeceased by his parents Lawrence Lecour and Marjorie (McNamara) and brother Lynwood (survived by wife June of Sudbury). Survived by his brothers Barry (Gisele) of Peterborough, Emmett (Lois) of Orleans and sisters Emerilda (Ray) Belanger of Thunder Bay, and Marlene Cundall (husband Don deceased) of Westchester, Penn, USA. Sadly missed by his sister-in-law Mary (husband Reg deceased) McInnis of PEI and the families of predeceased in-laws Michael, Leo, William, James, John, Ida, Patricia and Dorothy. Uncle Glen will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

Visitation at Duffus funeral home, Peterborough from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 25th. (Parish Prayers 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. Knights of Columbus Council 798 Prayers 6 p.m. Tuesday).

Funeral Mass in Cathedral of St. Peter-in-Chains, Peterborough on Wednesday, October 26th at 10 a.m. Interment to follow.

Donations to Operation Smile or Extendicare Peterborough (Activity Department) would be appreciated by the family.
