Telford MaeTELFORD, Mabel Vivaline 'Mae' (nee Hockaday) - (August 13, 1926 - October 27, 2016) - Passed away at Extendicare Peterborough.

Beloved wife of the late Morris for 65 years. Cherished mother of Wayne (Marg) and Don (Iris). Proud grandmother of Krista Dunn (Steve), Kim Lloyd (Doug), Michael (Shawna), Brittany Schell (Shawn), Davis (Jennifer), Ben (Jessica), Daniel, Joel and Micah and great grandmother of Jacob, Kayleb, Gratton, Ethan, Cooper, Roger, Launa, Izabella, Sienna, and Ryerson.

Predeceased by her parents Ada Mae and Stanley Hockaday.

Mae graduated from the nursing program at Nichols Hospital in 1948. She worked alongside with Morris on the family farm and later pursued her nursing career working at the Lakefield Private Hospital.

She gave freely of her time and volunteered in the community and at Gilmour Baptist Church, where she was a longtime member. Mae's greatest passions in life were her family, faith and friends.

Visitation will be held at Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough on Thursday, November 3rd  from 5 - 8 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held at Gilmour Memorial Baptist Church, 2083 Chemong Road on Friday November 4th at 12:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior.

Memorial donations to Gilmour Memorial Baptist Building Fund and the Gideons would be appreciated.
