Beloved father of Heather, Gail (Nick), Gary, Avis and daughter-in-law Jeanne. Adored and cherished Grampa of Alex and Andrew, and Gramps to Carol, Janet, Michael and Danny.

Predeceased by his wife Helen (1972) and wife Viola (2000), grandson Stephen (1994), son Wayne (2007), brother Steve (2013) and daughter Jane (2015). Loving brother to Ida, Daisy, Earl, George and special uncle to many.

Proud World War II veteran, loyal Masonic Lodge member and friend to many.

Special thanks to housekeeper/friend, Mary Kingsley and neighbour/friend, Gerry Byrne, for years of support and companionship.

Cremation has taken place. A Masonic Memorial Service will be held at the Millbrook Christian Assembly, 71 King St. W., Millbrook on Saturday, January 14th at 12:30 p.m., all are welcome to attend, and a Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 p.m., closing with a Legion Memorial Service.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Veterans Affairs Canada - Peterborough or a Charity of your choice would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Benson-Shields Funeral Home.
