James WardJAMES, Ward William - (WWII Veteran) - Peacefully, with his family by his side at Peterborough Retirement Residence, on Monday, February 6, 2017.

Reunited with his beloved wife and other half L. Irene James.

Loving father of Norman (Arlene), Neal (Theresa) and Ruth Quesnel. Proud grandfather of Jessie, Elisa, Joe, Colleen, John and the late Michael; and great grandfather of Taylor, Zylaa, Emily, Olivia, William, Trinity, Quinn, Ivy and Wilhem.

Dear brother of Idena Junkin, Eunice Kennedy, Delmar James, Boyd James and Evelyn Jackson. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Ward retired from DeLaval from over 40 years of dedicated work.

Special thank you to the nurses and staff at Peterborough Retirement Manor for their kindness and care.

In keeping with Ward's wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at COMSTOCK-KAYE Life Celebration Centre, Peterborough on Sunday, February 19th from 1 - 3 p.m. for Celebration of Ward's Life.

A private family burial of the urn will take place at St. George Cemetery in Apsley at a later date.

In honour of Ward, donations to Five Counties Children's Centre would be greatly appreciated.
