HOOTON, Mildred Mae - Passed away peacefully with family by her side at PRHC on Saturday, February 18, 2017 in her 94th year.

Mildred was the beloved wife of the late Roy Hooton (2001).

Dear sister of Helen, Joan, Evelyn, Don (Gloria) and Phyllis (Ray), sister-in-law to Leila, Anne and Harold. Predeceased by her parents William and Mabel Samis (nee Grant) and siblings Mary, Jean, Doreen, Ed, Ron and Ken. She was the much loved aunt of many nieces and nephews and their families – many of them spent their summer holidays at Uncle Roy and Aunt Mildred's farm in Cavan.

Mildred will be remembered by her many neighbours and friends.

Visitation will be held at Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, Peterborough on Saturday, February 25th from 11:00 – 12:45 p.m. followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Reception to proceed burial at Rosemount Memorial Gardens.

If so desired, donations in memory of Mildred may be made to PRHC Foundation, Five Counties Childrens' Centre or a charity of choice.

The family would like to sincerely thank the doctors and nurses of the PRHC Emergency Department for their excellent care of Mildred, along with heartfelt thanks to Applewood Retirement Residence which has been her home for the past three years.
