Finnie DawnFINNIE, Dawn Marie (née Moffat) - (August 24 1928 – March 11, 2017) - Dawn passed away peacefully at her home in South Monaghan with her family at her side.

She was the beloved wife of Keith Finnie for 63 years.

Cherished mother of Janice (predeceased 2013), Heather (Tony) Angione, Andrea (Ian) Pritchard and Lauralee Finnie. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Alfredo (Laurie), Nicholas (Vanessa), Anthony (Lhamo) and Sara Angione, Logan and Evan Maw.

She was big sister to the late William Moffat and Jean (Rudy) Peltzer.

The family would like to thank the extra care provided by Sadie Carson, Jane Lisson, Susan Baxter, Alessia McMahon, CCAC Nursing & PSW staff and Palliative Care Dr. M. Gibson.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at Centreville Presbyterian Church (564 County Rd 28, South Monaghan) on Saturday, March 18th with visitation from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Dawn to the Peterborough County-City Health Unit (memo line to read your choice of: Food for Kids – Millbrook South Cavan OR North Shore PS), or the OSM Historical Society.
