TURNER, Allison 'Al' Miller - We are sorry to announce the sudden passing of Allison Miller Turner, 88 of Peterborough, Ontario, on April 16th, 2017.

Al was born in O'Leary, PEI on March 25, 1929.

He was predeceased by his father, William Edwin Turner, his mother Alice Maud Rayner Turner, his brothers Edwin William, Wendell Simmons, William Arnold, Kenneth Rayner and niece Sally Louise Turner. Al is survived by sisters-in-law Avis Turner of Moncton and Iris Turner of Vancouver and many nieces and nephews.

Al loved cottage life on Rice Lake and PEI with family and friends. He enjoyed playing cards, reading, going to beaches and experiencing nature in all its forms. He attended Mt. Allison University to study music, then later moved to Toronto to work in the executive office of Goodyear where he remained until retirement. In his final years he lived in Peterborough surrounded by close friends.

Al was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted with NISBETT FUNERAL HOME, Peterborough. In keeping with Al's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Interment will take place at a later date.

Donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
